1. Context
Today, chemists have a large number of methods at their disposal for developing new functionalized target molecules, on which future progress in the fields of medicine, biotechnology, crop protection and materials depends... Classically, molecules are essentially developed in successive stages, each of which allows the incorporation of an additional fragment (component) making up the final structure. As part of the development of green, environmentally-friendly chemistry (sustainable development), rapid, cost-effective catalytic synthesis of compounds of biological or pharmacological interest using a single catalyst is extremely attractive. A great deal of research has focused on the preparation of defined multifunctional organometallic complexes, capable of carrying out successive transformations in a single pot via tandem, cascade or sequential catalytic reactions
