1.1 Accidentology

The French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development makes a list of accident data available to the public (via the ARIA database).

The ARIA database can be used to record accidents that have occurred on different types of installations. A description of a number of accidents involving the storage of flammable liquids is given in table 1 . It highlights the different types of hazard associated with the storage of flammable liquids. This list is by no means exhaustive.
