6. Risk assessment and prioritization
6.1 Continuous improvement to control risks
Before looking at risk assessment, it's worth recalling the principle of continuous improvement that underpins the approach. In fact, risk management is an iterative process, requiring regular review of hazards, risks and rescue measures. Figure 11 shows the general approach and the feedback loops that lead to updating the results of the various stages. These iterations are carried out, at the very least, according to a set period, but also in response to the following information or situations:
