1. Dry product feed and material dosing
Before filling, it is necessary to dose or weigh the required quantity of dry product for each unit pack.
There are three possible ways:
volumetric dosing ;
weight dosing ;
counting.
Beforehand, however, the dosing systems must be supplied with dry products.

Gravity systems
Free-flowing products (such as coffee, sugar, salt, rice) are fed to the filling machine by gravity flow, with the storage silo located above the filling hopper of the packaging machine.
