6. Trays with sealed pouches for dry products

This type of packaging is mainly used in the food industry, which has the largest markets in terms of packaged quantities, and the most sophisticated and automatic machines.

However, in other industries that produce a large number of parts per day, machines with fairly high output rates can also be found, for example in the field of screws and bolts, decoration and DIY products, and office equipment.

We will take as an example the cookie industry, where the most frequent case is that of cookies or crackers lined up in a pre-formed tray, with machines such as the one shown in figure 29 , these trays then being automatically threaded into heat-sealed plastic bags.
