12. Packers for eggs and other fragile objects

Of course, we're all familiar with molded egg cartons made from agglomerated fibers or expanded polystyrene. Less well known is the fact that their filling can be automated by suction-cup robots (see figure 30 ) which count the eggs and, thanks to their regular shape, deposit them carefully, but nevertheless at high speed, in the cells.

Other types of robots and robots can carefully push objects on a conveyor to their tray or compartment packaging, after sorting and counting them.
