2.1 Conveyors
The full bottles or flasks are then transported to subsequent operations by various types of conveyor.
Conveyors need to be very robust for continuous operation, and to resist friction and wear. They must also be washable, for reasons of hygiene and asepsis. They are therefore made either with stainless steel inserts, or with high-performance plastic inserts (polyamide, etc.) (figure ).
