2. Different types of detergent

Detergents – Refers to a product used to remove adhering soils from a solid medium by suspending or dissolving them. It is an alkaline- or acid-reacting chemical compound with wetting power used in cleaning.

Acid detergents have the property of being able to wash containers that have contained CO 2 without the need to remove this gas before washing. An acid detergent will be suitable for removing mineral soiling, while an alkaline detergent will perform well against organic soiling.

But the range of detergents on the market is not limited to acid or alkaline detergents. You'll also find :
