10. Reverse logistics and the environment: "green logistics

At present, there are still a few companies who see reverse logistics solely as the management of product returns. As we shall see in this paragraph, environmental considerations must also be taken into account. The concept of green logistics is beginning to gain in importance, thanks to new environmental obligations (decrees, conventions, etc.).

For example, before long, the number of landfill sites will be reduced, packaging will have to be reused or recovered by the company, and the same will apply to end-of-life products...
