5. Setting up the service

As part of its service with SCP, GT Logistics is logically required to set up a series of indicators in collaboration with its customer.

The aim is twofold. Firstly, these measurement tools are necessary to ensure that GT Logistics has internal control over its services, and secondly, to enable SCP to monitor the development of its business.

5.1 Indicator construction

The choice of indicators, calculation methods and control frequencies are decided in close correlation with the customer's logistics department, which monitors the service. In this respect, it is interesting to note that outsourcing is a factor for progress, since the arrival of the service provider triggers a series of changes in the existing structure of the client...
