Ecodesign is an approach to product or machine design that aims to minimize environmental impacts throughout the entire life cycle, with equal (or even better) performance. Naturally, this approach must be cost-effective. Consideration must be given to the choice of materials or components used, their origin, energy consumption, etc. Robots are becoming an increasingly important part of our lives, and if we want to continue to develop our robotics activities in a sustainable way, it's important to think about their eco-design as far upstream as possible....
