Note :

As part of a series of measures to simplify administrative procedures, a number of changes have recently been made to public inquiries, eliminating some of them and replacing them with public consultations (without an inquiry commissioner). In addition, the legislative and regulatory parts of the French expropriation code were completely amended with effect from 1 er January 2015. The references made in this article to the various articles of the expropriation code correspond to the articles in force until December 31, 2014.
