4.1 Conciliation
As mentioned above, the CNDP is also empowered to set up a conciliation mechanism in the event of conflict between a project owner and at least one approved environmental protection association.
Conciliation can be envisaged:
if the two conflicting parties request the CNDP to do so, giving reasons for their decision;
if the authority(ies) competent to authorize it has (have) not yet been seized;
upstream of a participation procedure with the aim of reaching agreement on how it will be implemented;
