4. Obligations of operators of ICPEs subject to declaration
The operator is required to :
declare any changes to the operation (extension, modification, cessation of activity, site safety, etc.);
report all accidents or incidents arising from the operation of its facility. The operator of a facility (subject to authorization or declaration) is required to report any accidents or incidents arising from the operation of the facility to the Classified Facilities Inspectorate as soon as possible. An accident or incident report must be sent to the Classified Installations Inspectorate. This report specifies, in particular, the circumstances and causes of the accident or incident, the effects on people and the environment, and the measures taken or envisaged to avoid a similar accident or incident and to mitigate its effects in the medium or long term;
