1. Statistics on accidents at work and occupational illnesses in the agri-food industry

The statistics in tables 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 are taken from a working document prepared by the Caisse nationale de l'assurance maladie des travailleurs salariés (CNAMTS) for the November 6, 2000 meeting of the Comité technique national des industries et commerces de l'alimentation (CTN n° 11).

Table 1 shows the results for the sectors with the highest lost-time accident frequency rates in CTN 11, ranked by decreasing lost-time accident frequency rate (LTIFR).
