4. Plastics – Specific regulation 10/2011 PIM
The new regulation 10/2011 of January 14, 2011 on plastics intended for contact with food came into force on May 1 2011, with a transition period for implementation of the new provisions ending on December 31, 2015.
It is often referred to as the PIM regulation for Plastic Implementation Measures, since this European text is an implementing regulation for the 1935/2004 framework regulation.
4.1 Repealed directives

The regulation replaces Directive 2002/72 of August 6, 2002, which is hereby repealed along with all amending directives.
