Kieselguhr filter components
A Kieselguhr or other additive filter is always added (figure 8 b ):
a diatomaceous earth feeder with agitator and alluvial feed and metering pump, or two specialized pumps. There may also be two dosers, each dispensing a specific type of alluvium;
a filtration pump with a flow control valve (if the pump is a centrifugal pump);
a flowmeter ;
sample taps ;
high-point drain valves ;
a manhole for visualizing alluvial flow;
a look at the filtered liquid;
