4.1 Composition and harmful effects of alcohol

Spirits such as armagnac and cognac have a high alcohol content (280 Kcal or 1,170 KJ/100 g). They also contain water (60 g/100 g), alcohol (40 g/100 g), sugar in very low concentrations, and two micronutrients, copper (0.16 mg/100 g) and zinc (0.016 mg/100 g).

"Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume in moderation."

The immediate risks are drunkenness, hangovers and blackouts, ethylic coma, the dangers of binge drinking, driving risks, violent and aggressive behavior, erectile dysfunction in men and reduced pleasure in women.
