1. Measurement system structure

A vision-based dimensional measurement system consists of the following components:

  • lighting equipment ;

  • a lens (optical) ;

  • one or more CCD cameras;

  • an acquisition card ;

  • a microcomputer, an image processing module and, if required, an image display monitor.
