6. Checking gauges

In order to meet the checking fixture control requirements defined by quality standards, limit gauges must be checked. Verification intervals depend on the user's requirements and must be adapted to the conditions under which the gauges are used.

6.1 Size tolerances

The dimensional and geometric tolerances of plain gauges are determined in accordance with standard NF E 02-200 and defined by standards NF E 02-202 for "Manufacturing" gauges and NF E 02-205 for "Reception" gauges.
