INTRODUCTION
Geometric specifications (NF E 04-552) (ISO 1101): which the design office produces on a definition drawing, guarantee geometric deviations between the theoretical nominal imagined and the actual realized, compatible with functional conditions.
The defects taken into account are classified into four categories:
shape defects ;
orientation faults ;
position faults ;
flutter defects.
For these various shortcomings, this section will be accompanied by a description of the different syntaxes that can be used by the designer:
decoding (in the sense of the ISO standard) necessary for their interpretation;
an approach to the associated checking fixtures.
