6. Drawing up and using calibration certificates

When performing a calibration, it is advisable to draw up a measurement sheet for internal use, to ensure traceability of measurements. The following information should be recorded on this measurement sheet:

  • applicant identification ;

  • identification of the measuring chain or sensor to be calibrated ;

  • date of measurements ;

  • operator name ;

  • calibration method used ;

  • equipment used (temperature standard, bath, oven, multimeter, scanner, etc.) ;

  • immersion of standard and calibration sensors ;

  • raw measurement results.
