5.1.1 Fixed-point calibration

This type of calibration is reserved for platinum resistance thermometers whose characteristics meet the criteria specified in the text of ITS-90. Very few laboratories in France are able to perform calibrations to ITS-90. This calibration method will therefore be dealt with briefly. For further information, please refer to the ITS-90 documents freely available on the BIPM website.
