2. Origami robot panomara
The state of the art of these devices, now considered at the proof-of-concept stage, is presented here. Origami robots are created using folding processes, a simple approach to manufacturing a wide range of robot morphologies. They can also be the result of 3D manufacturing whose shape is inspired by a previously defined origami pattern. Next, we propose to classify robots according to their functions: positioning, gripper and mobile robot. These functions remain valid whatever the scale considered.
