1. Model development

Petri net theory can be found in a number of publications [1][2][3][4][5] . We will not review the graphical elements and formal representation of this model here, but will focus solely on its use as a tool for describing an application expressed, for example, in the form of a textual specification.

Drawing up a Petri net model involves choosing a set of entities, a set of states for these entities, and translating the operating laws of the application in question.
