Annual membership costs €550 ex VAT for educational establishments, and varies according to the size of the company (€700 for less than 10 employees, up to €9,900 for more than 100,000).

Conventions, trade shows, symposia and study days are generally listed on the website of the non-profit association CAN in Automation (CiA). CiA is the international organization of users and manufacturers that develops and supports CAN-based upper-layer protocols.
