2D-LC, particularly in integral comprehensive mode, is a technique with great potential that is growing in popularity, driven by the need for fine characterization of complex matrices. Primarily an academic technique 5 to 10 years ago, it is now being used in industry's analytical development laboratories for qualitative applications (identification, comparison). Nevertheless, several aspects still need to be developed to open up its use even further to the industrial sector:
