ABSTRACT
How do we innovate and develop a management process of innovation in an SMI? This was the objective of the PMI'Novation operation that supported twenty PMIs in the Seine-et-Marne area. Defining an innovation strategy, and formalizing a first project in this context, were the main actions, with as a deliverable the presentation of a program to a public funding body. The outcome has been positive, with a success rate of 75% and the prospect of opening out this operation to the whole of France.
