2.1 Technical aspects
The research program is conducted over a long period, with a first phase between 2006 and 2010, and a second phase between 2012-2014. It focuses on two main areas.
The first part deals with methodological aspects of seismic calculation methods for fluid-coupled structures, taking into account fluid/structure interaction effects. The work consisted in taking the underlying principles of the approaches typically used for the seismic response of systems without fluids (static and dynamic modelling, spectral and temporal methods, direct and modal calculations), and applying them to the case of systems coupled with fluids, highlighting, for situations representative of industrial problems, the predominant effects attributable to fluid/structure...
