Billette; ticket

A bar made from an ingot processed by forging, rolling or extrusion, with a constant round or square cross-section.

Electrode; electrod

Generally cylindrical shape obtained after casting in a vacuum induction furnace, for remelting in a vacuum arc remelting or slag remelting furnace.

Vacuum induction furnace (VIF); Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM)

Vacuum induction melting process for adding highly oxidizable metallic elements with high yields.
