béton autoplaçant; self-placing concrete

Concrete characterized by the use of superplasticizing admixtures and a lower water content than traditional concretes, guaranteeing easier processing (without vibration) without impacting mechanical performance after hardening.

béton (fibré) à ultra haute performance; ultra high performance (fiber reinforced) concrete

These concretes benefit from the use of superplasticizing admixtures, while taking advantage of research carried out in the 1990s on granular stacking, and the use of ultra-fine particles and reinforcing fibers. They feature a very low water/cement ratio and unrivalled mechanical performance in concrete.
