2. Regulatory constraints
They are set out in the ministerial order of June 30, 2006, under heading 2565 of the nomenclature for classified installations.
It is forbidden to discharge wastewater into groundwater, or within the protective perimeters of shellfish beds or areas close to drinking water catchments.
Discharges are made after appropriate effluent treatment to ensure compliance with emission limit values (table 1 ).
