catalytic; catalytic

Catalytic application using catalysis, which is the action whereby a substance (the catalyst) modifies the rate of a chemical reaction, without appearing in the reaction balance.

crash; crash

The violent impact of a vehicle against another vehicle or an obstacle, resulting in rapid crushing and high energy levels.

indentation; indentation

An indentation in a coastline that resembles the bite or trace of a tooth. By extension, a hollow imprint left in a material by localized pressure.

In an isotropic medium, physical properties are independent of the direction in which the medium is observed.
