5. ECAP modeling and simulation
ECAP modeling of deformation behavior enables us to simulate the various aspects associated with it, such as the evolution of the microstructure, texture and mechanical response (force exerted when samples pass through the matrix, tensile strength, etc.) of several metallic materials deformed under different operating conditions (temperature, friction, internal and external angles of the matrix, road, back pressure, etc.). The main model proposed for the case of ECAP is the Estrin-Tóth composite model.
