The search for a certain BH hardening value that reduces or eliminates the risk of bearing return depends above all on the free carbon content (cf. figure 9 ), determined by the annealing heat cycle, but the choice of a particular heat cycle is not independent of the sheet quality targeted, as a number of properties need to be guaranteed at the same time, in particular the drawing parameters r and n (see article on the suitability of thin sheet for drawing [M 695] in the same treatise), but also a certain suitability for coatings.
