6. Meaux bypass

6.1 Project

The South-West Meaux bypass project is a good illustration of the benefits of using fly ash in road construction.

The project consists of a major piece of infrastructure: the city bypass, comprising a twice-double-lane motorway section some 6 kilometers long, linking the A 140 freeway north of Quincy-Voisins to the RD 5 at Villeroy (figure 31 ).
