phase contrast microscopy
Microscopy technique for revealing the spatial distribution of a phase object, such as a change in refractive index.
interferometry
A technique that uses the phenomenon of interference; coherent interaction between several light beams generating a spectral or spatial intensity modulation dependent on the phase delay between the beams.
