The encapsulation of active ingredients, whether permanent or with a controlled release, has applications in areas as diverse as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, food, cosmetics, textiles, building ... This article describes how from a problematic specific to the field of cosmetics, sunscreen, an organic-inorganic hybrid material was designed for the permanent encapsulation of a UV filter in a mesoporous silica
