1. Theoretical principle of anodic oxidation

1.1 General principle: electrolysis mode

Electrolysis involves the action of a current between one or more cathodes and one or more anodes through an electrolyte, giving rise to redox reactions at the surface of the electrodes (figure 1 ). The anode is the site of oxidation by loss of one or more (n) electrons (e - ) by a reducing agent (Red) to form an oxidizing agent (Ox) according to equation :
