3. Conclusion

It's becoming apparent that organometallic chemistry already has a wide range of applications. In general, this continuous-flow technique enables high-energy intermediates to be generated more precisely and in a much more controlled way than in a reaction flask. Even more importantly, contact times with electrophilic species are precisely defined and controlled, making these reactions more reproducible and, above all, easier to scale up. Continuous flow organometallic chemistry is still in its infancy, and we can expect to see an exponential increase in applications for this type of reaction in the future.
