1. Interactive systems development process
With the recurrent desire to increase the bandwidth between the interactive system and users, increasingly sophisticated interaction techniques are being proposed and are generally presented at conferences such as ACM CHI (Human Factors in Computing Systems) or UIST (User Interfaces Software and Technology). For such techniques, the main focus is on innovation and on assessing the usability of the interactive systems offering them. Once published, there is still a long way to go before these innovative interaction techniques reach the level of maturity required for their implementation in industrial applications. The following sections emphasize that their dissemination in industry requires user-centered design and development methods, techniques and tools, and that the main challenge for this dissemination is to be able to integrate these methods, techniques and tools into development processes...
