3. Illustration of the generic frame
To illustrate our approach, we use the example of an interactive cockpit application (see figure 4 ) called WXR (for Weather Radar System), which enables crew members to manage the weather radar. This application is simple enough to explain here, and uses classic graphical objects found in any desktop application. Although the approach is applied to a mission-critical application, the suite can be applied to any type of interactive application.
