7. ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 standard
We have already mentioned this standard, which relates to the notion of SYSTEM, in view of the process convergence achieved with ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207 by ISO experts.
In fact, this set of standards consists of two documents:
ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288, published May 16, 2023: Systems and software engineering – System life cycle processes;
ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-2, published in March 2024: Systems and software engineering – Lifecycle management – Part 2: Guidelines for the application of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 (system lifecycle processes).
