11.1 IBM
IBM is one of the forerunners of EAI, with its MQSeries product (1993) – a MOM – which is installed at many customer sites. This product has had a major influence on the market, and numerous connectors to MQSeries have been developed. The current offering is built around WebSphere Business Integration, enriched by products from the CrossWorlds range for process integration, Metamerge for directory-level integration, and Holosofx for process modeling and monitoring.
