8. Conclusion
This article has described the parameters to be taken into account when digitizing audio, still images and video or digital cinema. But a look at the digital balance sheet in the last paragraph (§ 7 ) shows that, in particular, digitized moving images generate a very large amount of data, and increasingly so (from SD video to UHD video, for example), which justifies the development of compression formats
