5. Future prospects

The establishment of MPLS tree structures on the initiative of receivers enables the integration of a dynamic from which the level of quality associated with content delivery and the robustness of the tree can benefit.

Indeed, the possibility of integrating the network access capacities of receivers into the calculation process for terminal branches would make it possible to calibrate the characteristics (in terms of bandwidth, or even the format of the content to be broadcast to this receiver) of these branches as precisely as possible, thus enabling optimization of the use of resources in access infrastructures.
