7.1 Logic channels
The MAC (Medium Access Control) layer provides the possibility of multiplexing different flows without any guarantee of quality of service, but with a frame loss rate likely to be suitable for the least demanding services (of the order of 1% of lost frames). To achieve this, a selective retransmission protocol is used.
