1.1 Definitions
A quadripole ( 1 ) is a part of a linear network with no independent sources, connected to the outside by two ports, each with a pair of terminals. In the most general case, the Q quadripole contains sources linked to quantities internal to the quadripole. In addition, the current entering one connection of an access must exit through the other connection of the same access.
