1. Transfer modes

The temperature of the electronic or electrical component is determined by :

T component = ΔT conduction + ΔT transfer + T external

with ΔT conduction temperature difference required to conduct heat from the component to the cooling surfaces,

ΔT transfer temperature difference required between the exchange surfaces and the environment to evacuate the heat flow coming from the component by conduction.
