1. Adaptation of the permeability model for use in an EM simulator

Faced with the increasingly stringent specifications of new applications in the telecoms sector (increased frequency, miniaturization synonymous with self-polarization, reduced manufacturing costs, energy efficiency, etc.), the technological transformation of ferrite microwave devices must be profound. In particular, manufacturing volumes and costs are too high, and new topologies need to be studied. In terms of modeling, the objectives can only be achieved through a thorough improvement of the calculation procedures on which commercial software is based. This concerns both the determination of static fields (polarization fields internal to the ferrite sample integrated in the circuit) and that of EM fields via calculation of the permeability tensor.
